South Fork in Cody, WY

Took a drive out to the South Fork, had a picnic and visited a few friends from the past. It was a lovely day with the sun shinning, a vibrant blue sky with white, white clouds and an effervesient creek. This is where I spent 3 summers hiking and enjoying this beautiful canyon full of, not only beautiful scenery, but animals that are still considered wild and somewhat exotic (bighorn sheep, wolves, grizzly bears, mountain goats, elk, moose, to name a few). Although we did not see any exotic animals today, we did enjoy the enchanting, untamable landscape and our picnic lunch.
