Rainy day at Lathrop

This weekend we had lots of other campers enjoying the lakes, fishing, hiking, & bird watching that we have enjoyed for almost three weeks at Lathrop State Park. This AM most campers are making their way back to their ‘stick & brick’ homes while we continue to be Gypsys on wheels.

Woke up to an overcast day… walked to Martin Lake to see if there was anything noteworthy happening or anything ‘picture worthy’.  Saw a Osprey sitting in a tree unperturbed that I was watching her. Not sure it was a ‘her’ but I’ll call her that anyway. Now it’s raining (which was predicted 100%). Now it is a HEAVY overcast day.  10 minutes later the sun is out, welcome to Colorado.
